Before your visit
Pre-care
A few simple steps in the days before your appointment help your skin respond well and keep your treatment as effective and comfortable as possible.
One week before
- Pause retinol, retinoids, prescription actives and strong acids (AHA/BHA) unless told otherwise.
- Skip waxing, threading, laser hair removal and electrolysis on the treatment area.
- Avoid deliberate sun exposure and tanning beds — no self-tanner either.
- Reschedule if you have an active cold sore outbreak, open lesion or sunburn.
Two to three days before
- Stop at-home exfoliating scrubs, dermaplaning tools and cleansing brushes.
- Keep your routine simple: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, SPF.
- Let me know about any new medications, injectables or recent treatments.
Day of your appointment
- Come with clean skin if you can — makeup will be removed either way.
- Hydrate well and eat something beforehand.
- Arrive a few minutes early so we're not rushing your consultation.
- Bring questions and your current product list.
