Preparation, aftercare and studio policies — the things worth knowing before your first appointment.
- I don't know what to book. Where do I start?
- The New Client Consultation & Facial ($0). We discuss your concerns, routine, lifestyle and history, complete a professional skin analysis, and finish with a customized facial. You leave with a plan instead of a guess.
- How should I prepare for a facial?
- Avoid scrubs, retinoids and new active products for 2–3 days beforehand. Arrive with a clean face if possible, wear comfortable clothes, and bring or photograph the products you're currently using.
- Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker or darker?
- No. Dermaplaning removes surface dead skin and vellus hair. The hair returns exactly as it was.
- Do I have to peel after a chemical peel?
- No. Visible peeling varies from person to person and isn't required for a peel to be effective. Don't pick or manually remove peeling skin, and use SPF 30+ daily afterwards.
- How many microneedling sessions will I need?
- SkinPen microneedling works best as a planned series rather than a single appointment. We'll set expectations at your consultation based on what we're treating.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Less notice is charged 50% of the service total; rebooking within 14 days may apply 30% as a credit. No-call, no-shows are charged 75% and require a 50% deposit to book again.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit cards and cash. Gift certificates are available.
- Can I bring my kids?
- The treatment room isn't set up for children, so please plan for childcare — the appointment is your hour.
Still not sure?
Call or text and describe what your skin is doing. We'll point you to the right appointment — even if that's the free consultation.
